Almond Milk With Orange

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw almonds soaked in water for 4-6 hours
  • 1 orange, zested and juiced
  • 4 cups filtered water
  • 4 tablespoons orange blossom honey

Preparation

  • Step 1

    Drain the soaked almonds and rinse them well (discard the soaking water).

  • Step 2

    Combine the almonds, orange zest, and filtered water in a blender and thoroughly purée (let the blender run for at least 2 minutes). Strain the almond milk through a nut milk bag or cheesecloth, squeezing well to extract any extra liquid.

  • Step 3

    Add the orange juice and honey, and mix well. Serve over ice. Keep in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
